Reconnection During February 14-15, 1998

This is a period of substorms with strong pulsations and long intervals of BBF activity observed by Geotail(plot by T. Nagai. T. Mukai LEP P.I., S. Kokubun MGF P.I.). The POLAR images observed pulsating electrojet over a wide local time sector. The aurora remained expanded during the period of pulsations and BBFs.
