Logistics and Facility Information
The Resolute Bay Observatory is operated and managed by SRI International
on behalf of the National Science Foundation.
Arranging Visits to the Site
While the observatory is open to visitors all year, available resources
are sometimes limited. Visitors to the facility are asked to schedule
their trips in advance.
To schedule and arrange a site visit, contact
the principal investigator for the facility.
Lodging
Lodging is available in town or at the site by contacting the
principal investigatorfor the facility.
Transportation
The facility is located near the Resolute Bay Airport in the Northwest
Territories. First Air provides several flights per week from Calgary or Montreal to Resolute on 737 Combi aircraft that accomodate both passengers and cargo.
